Join us at the American River College Track for the ISC Combine and see how your training stacks up!

Combine Events:

1- 🏃 40-Yard Dash (Laser Timing Gates)

2- ⬆️ Vertical Jump (Jump Mat Tested)

3- 🔄 5-10-5 Agility Drill

4- 💥 MB Keg Toss (Distance)
• Men: 8 lb
• Women: 6 lb

5- 🏋️ Trap Bar Deadlift
• Men: 275 lb
• Women: 175 lb

6- 💪 Bench Press
• Men: 205 lb
• Women: 95 lb

7- 🏃‍♀️ 1-Mile Run

Get ready for the ISC Combine🏋🏾‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

This is an exciting new fitness challenge built to showcase and test a wider range of athletic abilities.

📶While we love taking part in DEKA and HYROX over the years for the incredible community, motivation, and team atmosphere they inspire, and we don’t plan on stopping!

📶 The ISC Combine is going to bring a fresh edge by emphasizing speed, power, explosiveness, and dynamic athletic movement.

📶If you’re ready to break out of your comfort zone, unlock new levels of performance, and take on a different challenge, this event is for you.

The ISC Combine events include:

1️⃣40-yard dash (laser tested)

2️⃣ Vertical jump

3️⃣Medicine ball keg throw

4️⃣5-10-5 agility test (laser timed)

5️⃣Trap bar deadlift max reps

6️⃣Bench press max reps

7️⃣One-mile run

Training Focus

The ISC Combine is designed to measure and elevate key components of fitness, including:

➡️Speed➡️ Power➡️ Agility➡️ Muscular endurance ➡️Aerobic capacity

The cool thing is you get to train a wider variety of energy systems, challenge yourself with new movement patterns,
create a stronger, more complete fitness foundation and push past familiar training limits and routines

Right now our programming is built around developing complete athletes — not just conditioning, but the ability to perform with power, control, and consistency under fatigue.

The line drills are a perfect example. They challenge reaction time, body control, quick feet, and focus while fatigued. Simple drills with a huge carryover into performance.

The goal isn’t just to survive workouts. It’s to move well, stay powerful, and keep pushing when things get uncomfortable.

That’s where growth happens 👊🏽

Big congrats to our very own Gurleen on passing her test and officially becoming an instructor!

A lot of people walk into ISC nervous, intimidated, or worried they won’t “fit the gym vibe.”

Then they realize pretty quickly… this place is different.

People introduce themselves.
They cheer each other on.
They laugh together.
