🏁 Turn & Burn 2026 Is in the Books! 🏁

What a fantastic weekend of racing at the Sacramento Area Modelers field! While temperatures climbed into the mid-90s, the action on the course was even hotter. Pilots from across the region brought their best warbirds, razor-sharp turns, and incredible speed, making for two days of exciting competition, close racing, and great camaraderie.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our pilots, volunteers, race officials, sponsors, and spectators who helped make this year's Turn & Burn Warbird Pylon Race a success. Your support and enthusiasm are what keep this event growing year after year.

🔥✈️ TURN & BURN IS BACK! ✈️🔥

The skies over Sacramento are about to get a whole lot louder and a whole lot faster!

On June 13 & 14, 2026, the Sacramento Area Modelers (SAM) proudly present the Turn & Burn Warbird Pylon Race—two action-packed days of high-speed RC warbird racing where pilots push their aircraft to the limit around the pylons in a battle for speed, skill, and bragging rights.
