The Foundation - Mechanics
How you run is everything. If you aren’t running correctly, then running more will just lead to injury and frustration. Once you learn to run correctly, then you can build a solid foundation for “The Three Pillars”. Pillar One - Efficiency
Once you’ve achieved an efficient running economy, you can now add some energy and effort with minimal risk of injury. Pillar Two - Volume
No injuries and higher efficiency allows for an increase in base volume. This is where the hard work really begins. Pillar Three - Speed
Increased volume improves strength, aerobic capacity and therefore your speed capabilities. This is where you focus more on your specific race pace training. Summary
Flashpoint is reached with these basic elements in place through a personalized training plan set on specifically and individually preparing you for your race goal. The ignition of your running potential is yours!

Feeling nervous about running my first Distance Medley Relay at the El Toro All Comers meet tonight! Partly because it’s a very competitive field at a D1 High School, I’m the last leg and partly because I haven’t run a 1600m on the track since 2014!!! Here’s our order and line up...

1200m (Rob Arsenault - 51)
400m (Josh Veloz -34)
800m (Brad Peterson 50)
1600m (MJ - 47)

Well...I guess our avg age grade will be pretty tough to beat! :)

5. Don't be a do**he and put down D:N:F! :)

Tracking me during marathon...

I'll be starting in Wave 1 / Corral 2 at 10:AM EST. (I might get into Corral 1 with a little luck, which means...I could be on TV right behind the Elite men at the start.)

Easiest way is to text
