She believes that character is formed through what we hear, see, and speak, and is mindful to create images that have the power to uplift, transform and empower, both mentally and spiritually. Headed in a new venture, she completed her studies and received her diploma as an Integrative Healing Art Practitioner (IHA) creating her next business, NoJJ Life Stream LLC. Life Stream Coaching helps people through Business, Spiritual and Personal Development by utilizing life coaching formulas and selective modalities. She mentors, volunteers, trains, and coaches across many platforms and is a prolific motivational speaker. La Tonya is a board member of Encinitas4Equality, sharing her gifts with San Diego based nonprofits. In addition, La Tonya has a Bachelor of Divinity Degree which she utilizes in Ministerial Counseling and Spiritual Development. La Tonya, also known as NoJJ, is a mother of two adult baby girls, and a loving grandmother of two grandsons. Her responsibility and life goal are to support, lead and teach her children by being an example of human kindness and love.

Something new is unfolding šŸ‘ļø

Iā€™m excited to share that NoJJ Life Stream LLC will be an exhibitor at Wellness Market San Diego on Sunday, September 13th at EVE San Diego.

This gathering brings together wellness brands, practitioners, educators and community in a beautiful waterfront spaceā€”and Iā€™m grateful to be bringing a little of the NoJJ Life Stream experience into the room.

And yesā€¦ Iā€™ll be introducing something NEW. šŸ‘€šŸŒæ

My hand-painted Bamboo Wellness Sticks will make their debut at the marketā€”created as tools for gentle rhythmic tapping, intentional movement, body awareness and moments of grounding and reconnection.

Iā€™ll also be bringing some of my familiar NoJJ wellness offerings, including essential body oils and chakra-centered tools.

There will be much more to share as we get closer.

You donā€™t have to become someone else to rise.

Sometimes the work is simply remembering who you are beneath the noise, the expectations, the disappointments, and the distractions.

At NoJJ Life Stream, wellness is an invitation to come back into alignmentā€”mind, body, spirit, energy, and intention.

Whether through the gentle support of essential oil body + room sprays, the wisdom reflected in our chakra charts, or simply taking a conscious moment to breathe and be still, every practice can become a reminder:

You are already worthy.
You are already becoming.
And you may be far more beautiful than you have allowed yourself to see.

Mac Daddyā€¦ she deserves every bit of it.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, Iā€™m reminded that freedom is not only something we rememberā€”it is something we continue to build upon.

From Emancipation in 1863, to the delayed news reaching Texas in 1865, to generations of families who continued moving forward despite unimaginable obstacles, every generation has been tasked with carrying the torch a little farther.

This video is a reminder of what that forward progress can look like.

Watching my daughter, Synoviaā€”affectionately known as Novi and the ā€œNoā€ in my NoJJā€”being featured during Kinfolk Fest fills my heart with gratitude and pride.

What I see is more than a successful event. I see education, innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, community, and culture converging in one moment.

We often think a degree prepares us for one specific profession, but sometimes its greatest gift is something much larger. It expands the mind. It teaches us how to think, create, solve problems, and imagine new possibilities. The seeds planted through education often reveal themselves years later in ways we never expected.

To witness Novi building community through Mac Daddy Culture Kitchen, creating opportunities, sharing culture, and pursuing work that brings her joy is a beautiful example of that unfolding.

For me, this is also a reminder that legacy is not what we leave behind. Legacy is what continues to grow through the people we pour into, the values we model, and the opportunities each generation creates for the next.

May she continue to dream boldly, build fearlessly, and follow what brings her purpose. And may the benefits of that courage ripple through her family and community for generations to come.

The ā€œNoā€ in NoJJ represents my daughter, Synovia. Today, Iā€™m celebrating her journey, her growth, and the beautiful future she is creating.

Keep going, Novi. The ancestors dreamed. You are building.
