JMG Tennis Program was founded in Sacramento in January of 2011, with the mission of providing top junior players in Northern California with a program that allows them to train and compete in a dynamic environment with their athletic peers. JMG are the initials of the programs founder Joseph Morris Gilbert. Joseph is a well-known Sacramento coach, with a proven track record of developing top juni

or players. Joseph always knew that the Sacramento area had a large pool of tennis talent, but also felt that it lacked a tennis program that provided the full spectrum of training and critical mass of local talent necessary to maximize the development of these top juniors

Now, three years later, Joe's vision is a reality as Northern California's top juniors gather daily for intense focused drilling, match play, and fitness training.

It’s been an absolutely incredible road with the Nguyen twins from the start at JMG. From the first little steps on the court at 4 years old to watching them grow into dedicated young ladies JMG family build a connection with them that will last a lifetime! Besides outstanding results on the court these two sneaked into our hearts to show us what hard work, respect, kindness, compassion, and grid can look like wrapped in a smile : ) From day one this duo was special!🥰

Big congrats to Alexis Nguyen for placing 3rd in Level 1: USTA Billie Jean King Girls’ 18s National Championships this weekend! This girl fought through some difficult physical complications her last two matches and still pulled a stellar result! She is a tiger in heart!!!! Fighter no matter what the day brings!
