ShorinRyu has allowed me to experience a Chinese approach to martial arts (commonly known as Kung Fu), a Japanese style (often titled Jujitsu), and a wild Okinawan martial art (often called Te). What an exquisite mix of skills and training!!

It’s probably an over-simplification to say ShorinRyu is 1/3 each Jujitsu, KungFu, and Te. But practice in class does seem like it’s about 1/3 each. It’s been so fun to be back.
