Tomorrow I will have my boat setup at Granite Bay Folsom Lake for all interested in Fishing Technology. This is presented by Angler Press, Johnson Outdoors Humminbird/Minn Kota and Cannon products. Their will be a free BBQ and Raffle. This event runs from 8am till 4pm. The on water trips are booked up but if someone cancels you maybe lucky enough to get on water with one of our pros. Running the new Beta software on TL and ML2. Ran out on the California Delta yesterday running in Landscape mode. I was throwing a Swim Jig my Buddy using Whopper Popper. ML2 Target Tracking our baits and fish. Really Cool. Ended up 14+ pounds best 5.

Whew! Setting up for ISE Show at Cal Expo for this week in the Humminbird booth. I will be there Friday thru Sunday. I have been beta testing for Humminbird on the new UI and MegaLive 2 for a couple months now. Really awesome improvements over ML1 and the new CHO software UI v5.60. I set max range in testing at 150ft and was very impressed with the solid bottom picture that stretched across the screen. Bait tracking for back seaters picked up lure tracking as I had console CHO ML2 screen active and TargetLock ML2 was pointing Starboard. Both fishermen cast in that direction seeing both baits in the new wider ML2 cone. I can't cast 150ft but I cast my Flutter Spoon 75ft and watched it flutter back 85ft clearly to the bottom. I am very impressed on how much details and bait tracking the ML2 has now. Looking forward exploring more use and providing field reports for any needed future additions. Really great technology here to find fish fast and eliminate dead water from great distances.

Note: (The bit of noise on this video was from my Solix15 G2 unit on bow which was connected to Mega 360 and Ultrex MSI+ but not in network compatible with my boat do to the new UI v5.60. It is like having another boat independent sonar ping noise detected. I plan on running the new Explore 12 console and upgrade to a Apex 16 on bow). Standby for more.
