C & H Racing

C & H Racing Ron has three kids with his wife Michelle, Mkenna 17, Raysen 15 and Colton “Cole my hero”. Ron would have given up racing at that point, but I told him no.

Ron Chunn, driver of the C&H Racing NASCAR Late Model No. 44 machine is not only a driver; he is also a husband and a father to three kids, one of which is battling cancer. Michelle was very involved for many years before Cole got sick. “I sent Ron to the track when Cole was first diagnosed. The youngest child Colton was continuously sick from Christmas 2008 until finally on May 4, 2009 he was tre

ated for a possible enlarged heart that created breathing problems. Once he was admitted into the hospital a cancer specialist looked at his results and determined it was a cancerous issue. Cole was then transferred to a hospital that treated children with cancer, Sutter of Sacramento. By May 8 2009 Cole was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoblastic lymphoma and he began chemotherapy immediately. “Cole has been through a lot since he began his treatments from blood transfusions to hair loss and pain, but no matter how bad he got, Cole always smiled making him my hero,” say Ron on Cole’s treatments. Cole had officially finished his last chemo treatment on May 8, 2011 and the family hopes for no relapse. Ron Chunn and C & H Racing is the culmination of families that hold the love for racing and their family. Look for the sky blue No. 44 Late Model as Chunn drives to a win for his Hero and his son, Colton Chunn.

I certainly know who my 2 best friends will be but here goes nothing. Because this means a lot to me personally. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my friends less than 4 will take the time to put this on their wall to help raise awareness of Mental Health (PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health diagnoses) difficulties.

Ron Chunn
Coming out of retirement! could use some help, need a few crew members, and Have some room for sponsors.
If it wasn't for Ron I probably never would have gotten into short track racing. I saw something on Facebook about a team looking for a parts runner. I thought "Hey, I can do that. I'm retired and have a truck." When I replied to the message Ron said, Let's meet'. As the saying goes, the rest is history.
Thanks

ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY RACERS SUPPORTING PLACER SPCA IN RESPONSE TO MOSQUITO FIRE

ROSEVILLE, CALIFORNIA (September 13, 2022) – Race teams and sponsors who compete primarily at Roseville’s All American Speedway will present a donation of $2,000 worth of cash and goods to the Placer SPCA on Wednesday afternoon. The donation will take place at 200 Tahoe Avenue in Roseville at 3:30pm.

Placer County Animal Services has been inundated with animal evacuees due to the Mosquito Fire, with the Placer SPCA working in partnership to support them with shelter and services. All American Speedway sponsors and drivers are among those assisting with the donations.

Racers know that their success on the track is only possible with a great support system around them such as sponsors and a great pit crew. Now they are taking the opportunity to provide an assist for the community that has been affected. All American Speedway and Grounds has been hosting CAL FIRE operations and firefighters during the Mosquito Fire. The race on September 10 was unable to happen as a result.

Supporters of the effort include track photographer Don Thompson, Super Stock champion Josh Whitfield, and local businesses such as Legends Real Estate and Cardinal Financial.
