WEDNESDAY, MAY 20th — TAFH is having their pre-summer organizational meeting 🏑

Whether you’ve played for 10 years or have never touched a field hockey stick, come by and see what it’s all about! 💯

In the last 3 seasons we’ve had players every year show up with 0 experience and leave like they’ve been pros the whole time! Plus, you get a pretty great team with it too 🫶🏼

The Middle School Summer FH Series! 🏑✨🪩

Players entering grades 6-8 in the Southern Maine (or beyond) - come join Coach Carter (TA) and Coach Tremberth (Biddeford) for a summer of skills and scrimmaging!

Located on Waterhouse Field this year due to TA construction, we’ll have a blast getting our skills sharpened and hanging with friends!

We’re excited to welcome back some familiar faces AND introduce some new! 🚨🚨

You may see a new face on here - welcome Coach Alyssa Doughty! Coach Doughty will be joining the program this year as the Assistant Varsity Coach 🎉

After a career at TA *and* Thomas College where she picked up the game quickly and made a strong impact for both teams, Coach Doughty is excited to dive in and bring her attacking knowledge and love of the game to the TAFH program 🙌🏼

In addition to this crew, you’ll see some more familiar faces throughout the season popping in to volunteer their precious hours. We are forever grateful for our TAFH community!

Sign up today for our S**o Youth Field Hockey Camp! Link in bio 🏑🏑🏑

🔔 Due to late school-end dates from the snow, and scheduled turf construction over the summer, the camp will be a little later than originally planned, and will take place on our team’s grass field (in the TA Baseball outfield).

Players of all abilities are welcome, and they can still expect all sorts of skills, drills, fun, and games to get them feeling confident and excited for the fall season! Plus, a TAFH pinnie to take home 😎

Happy International Women’s Day! 💥

To be a woman is already a feat in itself, and to be a woman in sport is something else entirely. It’s challenging, gritty, bold, brave, and forces you to learn and understand more about yourself than you thought possible…

It’s also inspiring, joyful, exhilarating, and one of the most rewarding things you can do.

The girls and women who make up TAFH are all of those things and so much more. We pride our program on the character of our athletes on and off the field - we pride ourselves on working hard and pressing our foot on the gas, but we know at the end of the day the connections we make with each other and what we learn about ourselves will carry the team and program beyond.

Proud of these women all day and every day! 💕💕💕
