Our Story
Over the last three decades, John and Lisa Daniels have raised three boys as avid sportsmen. The three of them loved to be outside and took advantage of what the Maine wilderness had to offer. Anything from hiking and fishing to whitetail hunting, the boys were involved. As years went on, the Daniels’ boy’s experiences broadened and their passion for the outdoors grew stronger. In the l
ate winter of 2020, one of the sons had asked Lisa to sew together a pouch to keep his ice cleats in. It was at that moment, that the idea of the Pack Sak was born. Many weeks and several prototypes later, the first Pack Sak was sold in Sabattus, ME. Allowing hard water anglers to organize their hooks, lines, and sinkers within a sack fastened to the outside of their pack baskets. Ultimately protecting their traps and organizing their fishing accessories held within their packs. The Pack Sak, which was created for ice fishing, is now used by trappers, hikers, and campers alike. Growing from one prototype to two different variations that come in a variety of colors, the Pack Sak has crossed state lines and has been shipped across the US to help anglers and outdoorsmen everywhere keep their packs organized and their lines tight.
