The Memorial Day ceremonies were held at the Town's Crawford Park Korean War Memorial and Veteran's Memorial Park in Port Chester.

Memorial Day observances in the African American cemetery were rescheduled for this coming Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. due to the rain.

The Town of Rye, City of Rye, and pRYEde, are hosting the Sixth Annual Pride Month Celebrations on June 6th at Rye Town Park!

We had great weather for our Spring Community Clean-up and worked hard planting our next generation of cherry trees!

Prokofiev: String Quartet No. 2 in F Major
Brahms: String Quartet No. 1 in C Minor
( Westchester Philharmonic )

Both of these composers approached the string quartet form with reverence and some intimidation, with the examples of Haydn and Beethoven looming over them. Brahms is said to have destroyed over 20 string quartets before settling on this “No. 1,” and Prokofiev composed his “2nd” while an evacuee from Moscow as N**i air raids bombarded the city.
