10+ years ago the Rye Brook Rebels started a tradition of creating a custom gift for each our senior baseball and softball athletes. These are hometown student athletes who put countless time into their sport and most grew up playing for the Rebels. Thank you to the class of 2026 and we look forward to seeing what you do next. Coaches have nominated eight athletes for lohud Baseball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital. Voting will end Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but that’s . What’s important is you kept focus and didn’t back down. Rebels 9U with a walk-off win and a nail-biter loss by 1 run this weekend. Offense decided ‘it’s about time’ and our Rebels put up 24 runs total. Both games came down to the last out and our Rebels showed up!

Rebels Varsity Boys are the 2025 Fall Champions!

The game had the fans on the edges of their seats. Both teams traded runs throughout the game. Heading into the top of last inning with Rebels down 1, the boys put runners on with Walks and HBP, then took advantage of the opponent’s mistakes to take 2 runs. Then in the bottom, with two outs and a runner on, Rebels centerfielder snags a deep drive to save the game. What a game!

Our pitching showed up with style with a combined shoutout 4-0 win.

As a reminder, the Rebels will be hosting tryouts for the Spring 2026 season this Sunday, October 26th at Pine Ridge Park. 8U to 10U will be at 10am. 11U and up will be at 11am.

We will also be hosting a make-up tryout session on Saturday, November 1st at 11am at Pine Ridge Park.

All players must tryout, including current Rebels players.

Fall Done. Get Ready for Winter aka the Building Season 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Strong finishes by these Rebels: 9U challenged themselves by punching up with mostly a 7-8yo team, but we can totally hang with the big boys. Many close games that came down to the last out. 10U steadily improved their hitting and depth in their fielding and pitching rotation. 11U showed up strong in their first season in 50/70, finishing the regular season in 1st place. Each team has much to look forward to for the winter. Our players will work with their dedicated coaches who will point to individualized drills for the level ups! Keep focusing and loving

Rebels 8U Softball with a 5-4 win 👍🏼 . We gave up a run in top 1st but no biggie, we got even and some in bottom 1st and another run to end 2nd inning at 4-1. HLL didn’t back down though, they slowly caught up to us in the middle innings and eventually made it a 1 run game in the last inning 🫣 . With the game on the line, our gloves shined once again to stop them short 😎 The win is a nice bonus, but it was a great game for both teams, the girls kept focus made a step forward in developing their bats, gloves, and game IQ. But a WIN is still nice. Thank u next

Rebels 9U with the comefrombehindwalkoffWIN (ya that’s a word 😎). The game was action packed. Despite being down 7-3 in the 5th, the boys never gave up. They answered with their bats in the bottom of the inning - stringing a barrage of doubles and singles to go up 7-8. New Castle didn’t back down easy though, they ran the bases in a 9U fashion to tie the game. But our bats weren’t done. We got the last inning started with a hit, advancing the runner by putting the ball in play, and delivered the winning single to walk it off! We’re so proud of our Rebels for not giving up. Keep loving and focusing on .
