Murph is less than a week away. A Memorial Day tradition — 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats sandwiched between two one-mile runs.
There are many ways to take down this elephant of a workout. Here are a few strategies to help you conquer it:

The graphic says it all — from "One Shot" (aka The Bragger) to "Just Survive" (Gotta do what you gotta do). Whatever gets you to that finish line is the right strategy.

My recommendation? The Classic — 20 rounds of 5/10/15 — is popular for a reason. It keeps the sets manageable, gives your muscles a chance to rotate, and lets you find a rhythm. If running is your limiter, Leg Saver is your friend. First timer? Mini Rounds will get you there.
No matter which strategy you pick — the miles bookend everything. Run the first one smart. Leave something for the second.

Spring/Summer schedule update!

Starting in May, we’re rolling out an updated class schedule at Marble Valley Strength.

Some key changes:

🔥 Mid-morning Performance Strength & Conditioning is back

Monday 9:00 AM
Wednesday 9:00 AM
Friday 10:00 AM

🔥 More Strength Lab

Wednesday 4:00 PM is now MoveStrong: Strength Lab

We also made updates to our morning schedule to better serve our PushBack Parkinson’s classes and keep the flow of the gym running strong.

This update came from a mix of real attendance patterns, member feedback, and some honest schedule fine-tuning. No fluff. Just building a better week of training.

We don’t guess when it comes to training intensity.
Over the past two weeks, our athletes completed short performance tests that allow us to calculate Critical Power — a personalized measure of sustainable effort.
Now we’re using that data to:
✔️ Guide cardio intensity more precisely
✔️ Introduce weekly, short benchmarks
✔️ Track progress over time — not just workouts completed
Instead of “go easy,” we coach Zone 2.
Instead of random effort, we build capacity on purpose.
This is what long-term fitness looks like:
