This shoot is open to adults and youth shooters. Come and get some shooting in before hunting season begins. Any youth SCTP athletes can earn a league score for sporting clays, but you must have your registration fee for SCTP paid. Questions?? Contact any of the people listed at the bottom of the poster. Looks like a good way to get people interested in trap shooting!

Who's ready to break some clays? 🎯

Round up a team of four and join us for the Clay Pigeon Team Fun Shoot on Friday, August 21. It's a fun afternoon of shooting, a few raffles, good company, and a social afterward at Bearded Dog Taproom.

We're only taking 16 teams, so if you've been thinking about it, now's a good time to get signed up.

Ready to try something new? Drive down to Schaller and try out 5-stand. It's a way to sharpen your skills if you are an athlete who also likes to hunt. They will also have singles, doubles, and handicap available.

We had so much fun offering 5-stand last summer, we're going to do it again! All ages and skill levels are welcome to join. The course will be live from 4pm until everyone is done or we run out of targets. Bring your friends and come have some fun!

Traps 2, 3, and 4 will still be open for singles, handicaps, or doubles.

We have the results of our 14th annual Bully Bullhead Trap Shoot. But first--a big thank you to Troy Krug and Bryan Long who brought a portable target thrower for us to use. This addition made the shoot go much faster, and we were done by 12:30. Thanks also to the parents and athletes who always step up to help out!
Edit: We also want to thank Barry Fischer for letting us use his nacho cheese machine in our concession stand. Thank you to the Ruthven Fire Department who came out to the range on Sunday to see if we needed ice. This is truly a wonderful community!
Results:
Adult men--1st Paul Molitor 46, 2nd Garry Wiekamp 44, 3rd Scott Mack 44. The tie was resolved by reverse run.
Adult women--1st Mackenzie Schiphoff 39, 2nd Nikki Goraczkowski 33, Sarah Krug 21.
Youth men--1st Kael Mack 47, 2nd Kinnick Seivert 43, 3rd Isaiah Williams 42.
Youth ladies--1st Kimber Bartholomew 36.
Brian Garrels shot the only 25 straight on the 16 yard trap.
Whether or not you won, we hope you all come back next year!

Spread the word! The B*W fundraiser Trap Shoot is coming up on Sunday, July 12th. We will start at 10:00am. New this year-—two traps. Participants will shoot at each one. One will be 16-yard line and the other will be 21-yard line. See poster for details. Hope to see you there!
