Whether you consider yourself fast or slow regarding fitness you can definitely get your workout on with my Tabata class every Tuesday @ 5:45pm in the park.(Fee park, between the baseball fields) All fitness levels are welcome, so it will fit your speed exactly where you’re at! Tabata is a form of high-intensity workout training! The protocol is 20 seconds of high intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest.
Repeat for 8 rounds.
If you are more of a beginner and scale back or go lighter with your effort, you will, at a minimum, improve your aerobic “with oxygen“ fitness which improves your cardiovascular system. Push harder and you enter into the anaerobic or “without oxygen” arena pointed more towards muscle development.
With Tabata, the anaerobic effort builds both muscle and your cardiovascular systems and this kind of activity can be used to develop high levels of aerobic fitness.
So don’t hesitate any longer! You can do this workout….all levels of fitness are welcome!
