Let’s go, Lady Bearcats! What an amazing finish to this powerlifting season!

State Meet Results
Mnemony Newton - 114 - 670 lb total - 🥉
Morgan Nutt - 148 - 735 lb total - 9th
Dominique Pryor - 165 - 805 lb total - 7th
Tatiana Jones - 181 - 945 lb total - 🥈
Cielo Vidal - 220 - 965 lb total - 🥈
Jenasia Powell - SHW - 945 lb total - 6th

In team points, we finished 6th of 31 5A girls teams! We had the most podium finishes in program history at this meet!

These girls represented Ruston High School so very well all season long. We worked through early mornings, missed lifts, frustrations, and it was ALL WORTH IT for the PRs, high fives, hugs, and smiles!

These 12 strong ladies are qualified to lift at the 2026 North Girls Regional Meet!

Each finished in the top 20 in her weight class, competing against a total of 596 girls from 45 5A schools.

Of the 45 5A girls powerlifting programs, 6 qualified a full team of 11 to the regional level. We are so proud to be one of the six!
