On September 25th and 26th, RYBA will be hosting a Pitchers/Catchers Developmental Training Camp for those interested in taking advantage of the offseason to enhance their skills from the mound, as well as behind the plate. This camp is available for any baseball athlete between the ages of 7-18. Pro-RHP Brandon Shimo, with the help of experienced youth coaches, will provide valuable information surrounding every variable of the game. *This is NOT a cookie cut Training Camp approach.* It’s important to note that each kid will be approached and adjusted to perform drills that are going to benefit the weak points of their performance pitching/catching.

Camp location will be at Hickey Park Sports Complex. Make sure to check out the times each age group will be participating. Information is provided on the flyer.

So far, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of Pope County’s finest, hard working student-athletes over the past few weeks and I must say that they have already made impressive adjustments in a short period of time.

12yo German has been putting in work early and often and has me trying to keep up with him on the field. As a catcher behind the plate, this boy has already managed to show me he is capable of handling one of the toughest jobs in baseball by catching bullpens thrown by myself. This kids attitude and work ethic will be taking him places both on and off the diamond so check out the progress he’s made so far in the video below and let me know if you are interested in taking your game to the next level.

Lessons provide all hitting, fielding, throwing, and pitching skills as well as strength and conditioning training tools for those older athletes in Pope County looking for a workout routine that is built around your sport by specializing workouts to compliment the muscles groups utilized throughout the duration of each season.
