We have had several inquiries about the discrepancy on the dates for this year's event. Some posts show May 2 - 4, and our advertising of the event shows May 3 - 4. I apologize for the confusion, but let me explain. The carvers arrive on May 2 for set up and private events. The event is open to the general public on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4. The live auctions will take place Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:00 pm. We have moved the event to a new venue at Shiloh Park in Russellville. The location is less than one mile North of Interstate 40 (3501 N. Arkansas Avenue).

We are happy to announce that Keith Gregory of Willard, Missouri is coming back again this year for our event! Keith has been carving for 17 years. Here is his bio: Keith was always cutting firewood with his father growing up, so when he went to his first competition as a spectator, he already had a good understanding of the chainsaw. Having knife/hand carved for 10 years before switching to chainsaw carving helped to launch his career and he now describes himself as a realistic chainsaw carver. Eagles continue to be his favorite subject.
