In case you missed it this week, a civilian and state trooper were able to neutralize an active shooter who was illegally in possession of a firearm. This is one of the many reasons we practice and train like we fight. Kudos to these 2 heroes. Shame on the media for trying to hide that a civilian helped take down the criminal and shielded a civilian with his body.

***REMINDER***
This Thursday 4/30 in the evening is the drawing for the AR-10 we are raffling. There will be tickets sold tonight at Ladies' Night, Wednesday at the Trap meet, and Thursday at PPT up until the drawing at 8pm. Make sure to bring cash. Ticket prices are 1 ticket for $10, 3 tickets for $20, and 10 tickets for $50. Good luck to everyone who entered!

Self Defense Sunday
In America, we have the right to bear arms. The 2nd Amendment specifically says this right "shall not be infringed". We see anti-gunners trying to infringe on that right regularly. 9 out of 10 Canadians pushed back and stood their ground when their government tried to take their guns away recently. Americans, take note and stand your ground. Speak up, talk to your politicians, and voice your rights. It's important to have these conversations and remind everyone that our right to bear arms allows us to defend ourselves. Whether it's a bad guy trying to harm us and our loved ones, or something far worse, we have this God given right. Make sure you practice at home and at the range. Make sure you speak up for yourselves and others. We're in this together. Have a great rest of your weekend and we'll see you at the range!

To the ladies who came out to a wet range and still shot last night, hats off to you. You guys took the initiative to train despite a little rain. As one of you said last night, "The bad guys don't stop just because it's storming so why should we?" True story, you should always train like you fight. We can't wait to see you guys at the next Ladies Night in a couple weeks! Special shout out to Amy with the proper shirt for the occasion lol.
