Our Lady Broncos wrestlers put on a good showing in Council Bluffs, Iowa, at the Heartland Duals. Arianna Weigel, Averie Counts, Kinsey Zorn, and Aalyiah Trevino all helped their team go 8-0 over the last two days and capturing the team championship. Camry Ney’s team places 4th.

Shout out to Arianna Weigel for going undefeated and earning Heartland Duals All-American status!

These five girls were amazing representatives for our program and Russell. Proud of you all!

State Champion and Fargo All-American Averie Counts of Russell will be representing Team KS at 130lbs in the Rogue Dual on Wednesday night. She will be wrestling multiple time MO state champion Emily Bischoff of Odessa. This looks to be one of several premier matches. Wrestling starts at 6:30 at Avila University.
