The first round of the year, on the Ghost Town Course, was played by this group of hardy golfers. (Our beers were turning to slush)

For many years, these guys came up to the Ghost Town to get in the first round of year. In 1914, it was so cold on New Year's Day that their bottle of Yukon Jack had turned to slush. Beth and I miss you guys. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A very needed 1st snow storm of the season moved through yesterday. According to the Goetz method of measurement, it was a 14 discer.
