As I’m pull into the driveway at my house after a long journey, I sit here and I reflect upon that past week Over 2700 miles, 10 states, first time seeing the Great Lakes, and coming home As the MA 40 , Great Lakes open champion. So I sit here and look at this trophy and this is more than just a victory over a tournament, it’s more than beating all the competitors in the field, it’s more than what I can truly say with the words that I have right now. So with that said this is a victory For me because of what all of y’all know that I’ve been going through in the past few weeks and for y’all to not let me give up or fall but encourage me to keep pushing forward so this is a victory of me beating me and doing what I know I can truly do on the course And in life. so I think you all for following along and sharing the growth and the experience that I have been going through my whole life and started to finally overcome, not saying I’m not gonna fall because we all do but thank you for believing in me.
This is another victory from my grandfather Marion Gion, a lot of y’all know what he’s been going through over the past year and his fight with cancer and going through chemo and in hospitals I know it’s been hard on him especially with all the traumatic change, it’s been hard on all of us but we keep going we keep learning so this victories for you Grandpa.

Talk about a meant to be moment
Went out yesterday to play my first round in a while at lake Nacogdoches and I had to run to the gas station to grab a couple things and some guys come running back out to my car telling me I need to play their course. And after a little bit of talking, we all knew each other from Facebook and so instead of playing the lake, I went and played Trout Hill course with the Trout boys.
What a great course. It’s on my top 10 list. And since it’s only 25 minutes from my house, looks like my new home course.
Thank guys for having me and if you have not played there yet, it’s time and you definitely should
