I just want to say thank you to everyone that came to our demo today! The spectator hill was almost completely packed. Very few empty spaces left. The chicken bbq almost sold out. We had i think 54 cars registered.

So thank you to all the drivers for putting on one hell of a show! And for only the second time in all the years I've been working the demo, i was actually concerned a vehicle was going to come out of the track and end up in my lap.

Thanks again to Zachery Secrist for making the mad dog trophies for us! I told you you would probably be taking one home!

Thank you to all the tractor drivers who pulled the cars off the track. All your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you to Farmersville, centerville and Belfast fire departments and ems who came over with trucks and personnel. We couldn't do this without your help.

Our announcer Josh Decker is just amazing. And he is already booked for next year!

We had a lot of non fire department volunteers today as well. Too many to actually name. But bit gors to show that when one person is in a department, the whole family is by default.

And finally our tech inspectors and track officials. They have been with us for years and always do a good job.

Today is the day! Registration starts at 7am!
We are selling tickets for the raffle car at registration and then on the stage!
Chicken bbq by Carlins will be ready around 11am!
First heat will be at 1pm!

just a reminder that we are raffling this off to be ran in our demo this saturday! Tickets go on sale Friday night. We will do the drawing at the demo.

If you plan to take a chance on it, make sure you are either wearing long sleeves and pants or have them with you to put on.

I have had a couple questions in the last couple days so I thought I would address some of them here as well. So here goes:

All drivers MUST wear long sleeves and pants.
At the beginning of each heat, we have the drivers do a cross over before the fun begins. If you are new to our demo and don't know what it is, we will explain it at the drivers meeting before we start.

These were good questions. I thank those of you that asked me through messenger.

These are the shirts we are selling this year. Same sizes and prices as last year. Small to 4xl. $20 a shirt. We all really like them. I'm sure all of you will too.

Here are the details for the raffle car. The tickets are $5 each. We will start selling them on Friday, September 4th. We will draw the winning ticket sometime either before or during the demo. Either way we will announce it. The winner will have to sign all of the normal paperwork every other driver signs.

If this does well, we will look at making changes on how the raffle car is done. For now, this is how we are doing it. It's our first one, so please be patient with us.
