Apparently prepping for deer season includes doing laundry. 😂🦌

Washed all the new camo in Dead Down Wind, and Wes recommended letting everything air dry.

At this point I’m just following directions. 😂

I sold my F-150 for a Tesla right before my first deer season. 😬🦌

But I think I can make this work.

Factory hitch + cargo carrier means anything dirty stays outside the car, and the quiet drive into my hunting spots could actually be a nice bonus.

Think the Model Y can handle hunting season?

Apparently I didn’t need another trail camera. 😂🦃

Left the Tesla while I was setting up my deer stand and came back to a bunch of Sentry Mode events.

Just a flock of turkeys checking out the car. 😂

My Opening Day View 🦌

I’m finally up in the saddle in the spot I plan to hunt next weekend.

Still learning the XOP setup, but I really like this spot. The trail we’ve been watching is right in front of me.

Now I just need the deer to follow the plan. 🏹

I Picked the Tree 🦌

After going back and forth between two spots, I finally committed. The XOP setup is in the tree and this is where I’ll be sitting opening day.

Now we wait. 🏹

The deer are using this trail. Now I need to figure out where I can actually set up without sticking out like a sore thumb.

8 days until Minnesota deer opener. 🦌

The XOP setup is going in today. I want to get it done now, stay out of there for a bit, and hopefully have everything settled down by opening day.

My first bow season is getting REAL.

About 20 years ago, I took hunter safety in Colorado with a room full of kids.

Now that certification transferred to Minnesota, my tags are bought, and I’m officially ready for my first bow season. 🏹
