Hey everyone! I'm sure some of you now know that my husband, Pic, and I are no longer with Blue Springs. We spent almost 2 years of our time there and loved every minute of it! However, for those 2 years, as much as we loved our fishers and stocking trout, we never once received a paycheck. The only money we were allowed to use was for rent, electric, and a few groceries. Even with that, we were still happy and loved what we were doing. However, one of the bosses, is a narcissist and loves to drink and get mean. I do apologize for the language, but I've heard a lot of lies are being told about us and I wanted to share our side of the story along with some proof. These texts start at the end of July and go until the day we left. These are just some of the texts, but on top of that, there were calls every night as well. As much as we loved doing what we were doing and seeing our awesome fishers all the time, we could no longer be treated as slaves. Then my husband got a job offer making more than he ever has and we had no choice but to take it and leave. I HATE IT!! And I cried all the way to where we are now. Leaving all of our wonderful fishers, some that had become friends and even family, was THE HARDEST THING we have ever done. But as I said, we aren't slaves. We are gonna miss each and every one of you! We wish you all the best! Now that we are gone, they have raised the price to $80, which I refused to do. Also, while we were gone on vacation, this same boss had the stocker put in 12 fish for 10 people!!! I hope for yalls sake, things get better with time, but I would be counting those fish going in! My one wish is that blue springs keeps going with the quality we were giving and y'all find all the peace and fun on the stream that you found when we were there. We love and miss every single one of y'all! Hopefully one day, we will see you somewhere on a stream again!
