GOOD. Water clear; 61 degrees; 8.79 feet low. Look for largemouth bass to be near huge schools of migrating shad. Try shad type crankbaits around main and secondary points in the north end. Take a good look up in the Three Fingers area as the baitfish will really pack in there, especially on warmer days. Sand bass are also following bait. Try the north end with slabs. The fish are staying in one place more frequently as the water cools down. Start looking for air support as more gulls make their way to the lake. Crappie remain good on minnows near the bridge and docks. They will also be tailing baitfish. Catfish remain fair on cut bait, look for the Blue Cats to become more active as the water temps drop into the fifties. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.

GOOD. Water normal stain; 85 degrees; 6.99 feet low. All ramps are open but may be steeper in the near future. The water is clear with water temperatures staying in the mid 80s range. Sand bass are surfacing randomly around the lake early morning and late evening using small imitation shad. On still days you can see them from a distance. Crappie remain very good around the bridge and main lake structure, docks and brush piles using minnows and jigs. Largemouth bass continue to be good on topwater baits early in the day, moving to main lake points with deep water nearby using Texas rigged worms in pumpkin seed worked low and slow. Catfish are good on punch bait and cut bait in shallow water. Be sure to check out the new catfish regulations from Texas Parks and Wildlife. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.

GOOD. Water normal stain; 75 degrees; 3.11 feet low. Threadfin shad are running the banks for their spawn and all species of fish are shallow looking for an easy meal. Try a shad type crankbait to reel these fish in. Blue herons are sharing their fishing spots, so watch and they will guide you to active fish. Sand bass are good moving back into the main lake, finishing their spawn. Slabs have been producing quite well. Crappie and largemouth bass are moving into their post spawn pattern. The southern end may still have some spawning fish though. Look for the crappie to return to summer time brush piles pretty quickly biting on minnows and jigs will rule. Getting some reports of catfish being caught shallow on cut shad. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.

GOOD. Water normal stain; 68 degrees; 3.31 feet low. Lake Bridgeport is up about a foot after the recent rains and all boat ramps are open. The main lake is stained and the northern and southern ends are quite dirty. Threadfin shad are running the banks for their spawn. All species of fish are shallow along the banks looking for an easy meal. GOOD. Water slightly stained; 56 degrees; 2.91 feet low. Birds are showing up in good numbers. This bite will only get better as it gets colder. All ramps are open. Largemouth Bass are good on shad colored crankbaits as the day warms. Rock banks in the sun have been best. Hybrids and sand bass are fair on "deadstick" baits and slabs. These fish are moving fast, so don't be afraid to move around and check different depths. Crappie are good around marinas in the south and north ends of the lake using minnows and jigs will work best. Catfish are fair on cut shad drifting/dragging in the northern end. The blue catfish bite will be picking up. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
