Monday Motivation: Train Through the Dark
Seasonal depression doesn’t usually announce itself loudly.
It creeps in quietly — shorter days, heavier mornings, lower energy, less drive.
This is where training matters most.
Movement is medicine.
Strength training pulls you out of your head and back into your body.
Sweat, tension, breath, effort — they remind you that you’re alive, capable, and not at the mercy of the season.
You don’t train to feel motivated.
You train so you don’t sink.
Winter isn’t a reason to retreat — it’s a reason to fortify.
Show up. Lift. Carry. Move.
Let discipline be the light when the days are dark.
One session won’t fix everything.
But it will move you forward — and forward is enough.
