The objective of the Cree Meadows Ladies' Association (CMLA) is to
develop, maintain and support an active golf and social association for
women members of the CMLA, stressing good fellowship and sportsmanship. CMLA activities include:
- Getting together weekly for lunch, games (such as train, mah jong,
bridge) and camaraderie.
- Playing weekly organized golf games from Spring - Fall for ladies
with
diverse golfing skills.
- Rewarding student scholarships to local outstanding students each year.
- Supporting community needs by donating to such organizations as the Food
Bank and "Toys for Tots".
- Sponsoring the annual Cree Uprising ladies golf tournament for members
and non-members.
- Holding the annual CMLA Championship golf tournament for members.
- Representing the Cree Meadows community by attending statewide golf
tournaments as a CMLA team.
- Celebrating the holidays with an annual Christmas Party for members. Our organization welcomes members with diverse interests, beliefs, gaming
and golfing skills. Not required to be a Cree Meadows/Ruidoso resident or golfer. C Camaraderie, Community, Competition
