Dear Baley Cheer Families and Squad Members Past & Present,

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news of my resignation as Baley's cheer coach, effective Friday, June 6th. This decision has not come easily, but after thoughtful consideration, I have decided to step away from my role and pursue a new chapter outside of Royse City ISD.

Coaching this team has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Watching these incredible athletes grow—not just in skill, but in confidence, teamwork, and spirit—has been an absolute joy and privilege. I am deeply proud of all that we’ve accomplished together and forever grateful for the memories we’ve made.

To the parents: Thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and involvement. Your commitment has played a huge part in our success and the positive environment we’ve built.

To the girls: You are strong, talented, and full of potential. Keep lifting each other up, working hard, and believing in yourselves. I will always be cheering for you, no matter where I am.

Although I am stepping away from this position, I will always carry the pride and love I feel for this team with me. I trust that the program will continue to thrive under Coach Blackman, and I look forward to seeing all the amazing things you will achieve on the mat and beyond.

Applications for 2025-26 Baley Cheer Manager are available in Student Services. Interested candidates must submit their completed applications to the box outside Mrs. Dedman's room ( #205) by 4pm on Friday, May 16th. Face-to-face interviews will occur the last week of school, May 19-22.
