☕️ Sabbath coffee will be on-site throughout the event for athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators.

WBCM was founded by Olympic medalist Oleksiy Torokhtiy and builds gear specifically for people who spend an unreasonable amount of time throwing barbells over their heads.

Something feeling a little sketchy between warm-ups and the platform?

We know some people.

Our friends at Balanced Physical Therapy will be on-site throughout Summer Slam ’26, helping keep our athletes moving, feeling good, and ready to compete.

Balanced PT operates right here inside Motor City Barbell Club, so Dr. Tori and Dr. Rob aren’t strangers to barbells, heavy training, or the occasional lifter held together by caffeine, tape and questionable decision-making.

Whether you need a quick assessment, some hands-on work, or just want an expert opinion before heading back to the warm-up room - go see them.

And their support doesn’t stop when Summer Slam is over. Having physical therapy right inside the club means our athletes have access to providers who actually see how they train, understand what they’re trying to accomplish, and want to keep them doing it.

If you’re visiting Motor City for the first time this weekend, make sure you stop over, say hello, and meet the BPT crew.
