The deadline is this Friday (September 11) for The Assist Grant for Girls Hockey Players.

Unexpected circumstances away from the rink should not prevent a young athlete from continuing to play the game she loves.

The Assist Grant for Girls Hockey Players provides hardship assistance to families of girls hockey players across Michigan who are facing sudden or significant financial challenges.

Made possible through a partnership between the Suburban Hockey Foundation, the NHL Foundation U.S. and Megan Keller, the grant assists families experiencing circumstances such as a major accident, serious illness, the death of an immediate family member, job loss or another unforeseen hardship.

Applications will be accepted through September 11, 2026, and recipients will be notified by October 2.

Learn more and apply: https://suburbanhockeyfoundation.org/apply-for-a-grant/

Coaches, associations and members of the hockey community: Please share this opportunity with families who may benefit.
