Hi everyone! Thought I would share a few updates. We are working with centers to schedule some additional tournaments. We will announce them as they are confirmed. In the mean time, get ready for the new tournament and league season. Now for the post you’ve all been waiting for!
First, I want to thank everyone who bowled this year. We’ve grown every year, but this year the turnout was beyond anything we expected. Because of that growth, we’re already working on adjustments for next year to make the experience even better for everyone.
If you have ideas, suggestions, comments, anything at all, please send them our way at [email protected]. Your feedback truly helps shape this tournament.
We’ll have next year’s dates finalized as soon as possible. With the center remodel happening, we can’t lock them in quite yet — but expect them to fall around the same timeframe.
I also want to give a huge thank‑you to my helpers this year: Doug, Ed, Nylea, Levi, and Nick, as well as the entire staff at Ben Lomond (Thunder Lanes). And of course, our incredible sponsors: Storm, Roto Grip, Global 900, and Bowlifi. Every one of you played a part in making this tournament a success.
And with that being said… checks are ready.
Doug and I will be at Davis Lanes tonight from 5:30–7:15. If you want to pick yours up in person, we’ll have them with us. Otherwise, they’ll be dropped in the mailbox tomorrow.

After 5,508 games bowled the 69th annual Golden Spike Bowling Tournament and the last tournament at Ben Lomond Lanes has come to a close. By far the biggest and best year all thanks to you, the bowlers. We would like to thank everyone again for an amazing turnout! We hope everyone enjoyed this years tournament and we look forward to the future at Thunder Lanes! Thank you to Chayton and his crew for all their hard work and long hours. Thank you to our helpers Ed, Nick, Nylea and Levi. We will get standings updated and posted on our website by Sunday May 10, Happy Mothers Day!! See you all next year!!
