I missed a few days ….. life got crazy. My studio is a mess I taught all day things are everywhere and my body looks like a body that stood all day and is just getting a chance to move. This is my imperfect practice …. Day 5 . Rolling back Day 6 . Single leg pull Day 7 . Double leg pull Day 8. Spine stretch Day 9 . Open leg Rocker. There. All caught up :)

Day 3 : the rollover. Lie flat on the mat hands either pressing down by your sides or on the dowels if the shoulders allow stretch long through the legs , lift the legs to the ceiling then continue to lift the legs up and over head rolling through the spine. Separate your legs the reach long through the legs rolling down through the spine, lower the legs to about 2 inches above the mat ( or your point of control) repeat 3-5 times then begin with the legs separated and roll down to the mat with them together repeat this 3-5 times.

Day 2 The Roll up. Lie on your back, press your legs together , reach long through your legs , on an inhale simultaneously lift your arms , pick your head up and look through the arms, lift your chest , on an exhale articulate your spine up off the mat. Inhale again as you stretch forward and on the exhale articulate the spine back down on to the mat , reaching the legs forward in opposition. The hundred : lie flat on the mat stretch arms and legs , inhale lift feet off the mat ( 2 inches above is the goal ) left head gazing toward your toes , raise arms above thighs ( 6-8 inches ) exhale then begin pumping the arms vigorously while inhaling slowly for 5 counts and exhaling slowly for 5 counts. Repeat for a total of 100 counts. Relax down on to the mat. This is a breathing exercise ….
