[NUSC 2014 National Team Athlete Profiles]

[Julia Hannigan]

As president of the women's team, Julia has proven herself to be strong leader and a great presence on the team. Julia is a Middler Health Sciences major from Trumbull, CT who can always be found working hard, both in and out of the water. With strong seed times going in to the 200 and 500 free, we look forward to seeing what Julia is capable of at Nationals!

[NUSC 2014 National Team Athlete Profiles]

[Erika Nothnagel]

Originally from Winnetka, Illinois, Erika has been swimming for over 12 years. For the 2013-2014 season, Erika has taken upon herself the role of Captain for the Women’s Swim Club. We would not be the same team without her inspiring presence at practice every day.
Erika is one of our top swimmers, holding top 10 times in every event she has swam at Northeastern. Erika specializes in freestyle; mainly in the 100 yard and 200 yard events. But she can also bust out a great breaststroke swim whenever Timber plays. We look forward to seeing her place well in Nationals and be a key component in all of our women's relays.

[NUSC 2014 National Team Athlete Profiles]

[Paul Schoenfelder]

It all began on a passionate summer eve in the year 1990. What happened next changed the world. Paul Schoenfelder greeted humankind.

Fast forward 18 years relatively bland years and Paul made the decision to attend Northeastern University and join the Northeastern University Club Swim Team, now known and feared as the Northeastern University Swim Club.

Since joining the team in 2009, Paul has played an integral role as a member of numerous “C-lays”. Paul’s greatest moment was finishing 133rd in the 100 freestyle at the 2013 ECC National Championships, scoring no points for the team, but ultimately enjoying his race.

Paul looks forward to living the dream for one final semester at Northeastern University before he has to become a real adult and figure his life out.
