Wentworth Women's Rugby

Since 2003 the Wentworth Women’s Rugby Club has engaged women from all 6 COF schools in competitive play against other colleges in the New England area.

Over the years, the team has grown from a couple ambitious women to a large group of ruggers who are known for leaving everything on the field. Over the years since the team’s inception, the WIT Women’s Rugby team has had many outstanding seasons. The team went undefeated in the Division 4, pushing the leopards into Division 3, took 2nd place at nationals in 2009, and second at the Beast of the Ea

st Tournament in both 2009 and 2011. The team participates in fall and spring seasons, making this a full year sport full of running, rucking and most importantly, fun. In addition to going head to head against other teams, the WIT Women’s ruggers can be seen throughout Boston volunteering and and giving back to the community at various WIT events in addition to volunteering at the Boston Marathon.
