Our member of the month for March is Lydia Dodge. She is a member of the Forj Crossfit Teen Program. Although only 14, she has hit PRs in 2026 on her back squat (120 #), bench press (105 #), C&J (105 #), Power Clean (105 #) and Deadlift (170 #). She is the only teen who registered for the Open and is one of five members in the gym who has completed the official crossfit judges course this year. She joins her Mom, Megan, on Sunday Crossfit workouts and is currently working on her Bar Muscle-Up. Please extend your congratulations to her (and her Mom) and keep an eye out for her first Muscle Up video on the Forj social media pages in the coming months!

Our member of the month for February is Samantha “Sam” Furtado.

A 9:30am participant only in her first 8 months with the gym. When Sam started, she could not do a hollow hold but rope climbed to the top on her first day on the ropes.

Most important, she is coachable. And willing to put the work in. Although she is still in the learning process of CrossFit, all of her movements have consistently improved since she joined. Even after a tough day, going out the door, she”ll say “I’ll just keep showing up”. Summing it up, she exemplifies many of the qualities it takes to be a good crossfitter.

Yesterday we came together to celebrate strength, resilience, and the impact women make inside and outside the gym. From first pull-ups to big breakthroughs, every rep told a story of courage and growth.
