I am making custom turkey calls. The reason is pot calls are more interactive with your quarry and I found that using machined turkey calls are ok and they work but the tone and sweetness in a still morning with the dew dripping from from the grass and the birds singing and then you strike the note to hear a thunder rooster gobble and then you hit it again and you hear the bird hit it again.... yo

u are hooked.... People call it poor man elk hunt or whatever but Turkey hunting is an art and so is what I produce... it is a piece of lone star pride but more importantly it brings them in....might not be the prettiest call ever to be made but after the maestro Neil Cost... rarely many measure up. I have tested and figured that multiple layers and tone is the key ....along with a properly prepared surface.... So I am posting for a friend who is the agent selling land 96 acres in Lamar County Texas. there is no structures or ponds on it and the tax roles has it for 225,000 approximately.
