One convention. A whole lot of dancing. And enough new choreography to keep our Company dancers busy in the studio for weeks!

Our dancers headed to the Celebrity Dance Convention ready to learn, be inspired, and soak up every second—and they came away with fresh ideas, new challenges, and even more reasons to LOVE what they do.

Because the dance life isn't just about the performances. It's about the moments in between, the things you learn when nobody's watching, and the people who remind you why you started dancing in the first place. 👯‍♂️

If the "pointe" shoe fits...

What’s the #1 thing dancers get wrong when choosing pointe shoes?

The answer?
👉 The fit.

A properly fitted pointe shoe is essential for a dancer’s safety, technique, comfort, and longevity. And no two dancers’ feet are exactly alike!

When fitting a pointe shoe, a dance teacher or professional fitter looks at things like:

✨ The dancer’s foot shape and width
✨ Toe length and alignment
✨ How the toes sit inside the box
✨ Heel and arch fit
✨ The amount of support the shoe provides
✨ Whether the dancer can properly articulate through the shoe
✨ How the shoe feels when standing and rising onto pointe

A pointe shoe shouldn’t just look pretty or feel comfortable in the store. It needs to fit the dancer's individual foot and support the way their foot works.
