Although I have ran a bunch of races since my last post on this page, I will start back making race recap post on this page my next race June 29th @ Lake View Motor Speedway. 🏁🏁🏁💪

Race Recap: 6/3/23
Cherokee Speedway

Saturday we took the trip 3 1/2hrs from home to finally cross off one of my bucket list tracks . I’ve watched Chris & our buddy Daulton run this track enough that I was ready to jump on the saddle myself an go for it . We had pill draws for the heat races ofcourse I was excited about that right cause I always draw a high number 😂😂 Not this time I drew a 17. Went out for practice laps and the car was pushing like a 18wheeler at 90 miles an hour going for the wall. I came in told Chris I don’t know what’s went wrong but we gotta do something . We made some decisions did a little magic and then it was time for heat races . Lined up beside an infront of a bunch of the local guys didn’t bother me one bit… I drew outside pole so I was super excited about that . Lined up side the pole sitter he kept wanting to bump me up in the ruff stuff little did he know I’ve raced in the ruff stuff we’re I come from so i wasn’t scared . We enter the start box I’m patiently waiting for him to fire finally he fires an we both go at the same time I pulled the leader down the straight away by about 4 car links car sails off in the turn perfect !!! Going down the back straight away the caution flies an it’s on me for what reason !! “86 move back to the second row you jumped the start”. Nah player we left the box at the same time I just out run him. Ok so I slow down to let the second row move up in my position ended up I then got put completly to the rear. I was then discouraged an lost my momentum . I didn’t come here to run at the back of the pack . I ran the heat race pulled in madder then a rattlesnake in the Texas desert. Were I finished would put me starting the race 10th ok I can work my way through . Then here comes the rain it monsoons an the race is canceled. They reschedule for the following day an I just wasn’t up to make that 7hr round trip again . So we stayed home . I plan on returning back for my revenge to win a race there this season .

All nice & clean for this weekends battle at Lake View Motor Speedway 💪🏁 My brother said white & light was fast but dang I didn’t know it puts a target on ya lol 😂 Jk !! I’ll see everyone there to celebrate!!! Letssss Goooo !!!

First I wanna apologize to all of my fans & followers for not posting up dates every Sunday like I should . Between working several 12hr shifts at the hospital constantly, children, home & racing. It’s been a whirlwind around here an I don’t take enough time to update everyone who supports my little team .

Alright on to this past weekend April 22, 2023. My big brother Jason Brown, my boyfriend Chris & myself all made the decision since the beach bash was canceled at Lake View Motor Speedway we would travel to Sumter Speedway an give it a shot for the night . Weather was perfect , track was awesome & we we’re all excited to be behind the wheels of our three cars again . Since a good bit of our races for the beginning of the season have been called because of Mother Nature, a force we can’t argue with . It rained a good bit before the program got started so we knew we would have a slippery, sticky track to run on . I go out for hot laps & the car has a push that feels like a Mack truck. I run my few laps an pull in . I go to Chris who is always & I means always my go to person even when we aren’t running the same tracks . He always tells me what he thinks will help since I’m learning how to do the whole set up thing because most of the time I’m a one man team since we both run 3 different series . He gives me the pointers an I go with it . Qualifying comes up I go out car is perfect the first two laps it drove itself then the third lap oh no what happened lol tires heated up an it was all going back to crap . I qualified 13th out of 21 cars . 😡 I was not happy at all with that being I am no were near use to being that far back in the field anymore . I knew it was gonna be a fight for survival night. I go back to Chris with my concerns an we talk it over I go back to the car an Im working on it again . Keeping my fingers crossed this time it’s right. Feature time felt like it took forever. The thunder bomber guys I guess was having a enduro race an Sissy was giving those guys the business over the race reciever . FINALLY ITS OUR TIME !! We pull on the track an I’m like ok we may have a shot if these guys infront of me can keep their noses clean ! That was a joke those guys are ruff an beat an bang to the end . The race starts we have caution after caution. One restart I got shoved from the back in turn one between two cars that we’re fixing to wreck, I was committed with my hands on the wheel before I got hit . Well needless to say it shoved me between the two cars. The car to my right we wheel hit it snatched my wheel with my hand in tack, I hear a couple pops an instant pain . I drove the rest of the race with one hand cant tell you how many laps cause it seemed forever . Last restart we get going my big brother gets taking out by the black hatch crew going for the lead in turn one & two. Yet again another restart then I was running 4th. They put those guys behind me an I knew my brother was there an he was faster then me . We sailed off an I hugged the bottom letting my brother get by without blocking him an cutting the rest off so he could get back to the front . White flag falls Im running 5th with one hand, checkered flag flys an I finish 5th with one hand in a lot of pain an swelling instantly . I MADE IT I SURVIVED THE SUMTER CROWD !!! We load the cars up an I tell Chris I need to go to the hospital . We go an we set there till 6 am Sunday morning . We finally all was home an in our beds by 8 a.m. Sunday morning .. Got a splint , meds for pain, an the pleasure of learning to do everything with my dominant hand until my left hands heals with the fractures an broken ligaments.. There’s my story (Race Recap) 😂😂 Now time to get ready for our next rumble at Lake View !!

This is Gonna be along post about two very special events that happened in one day in my life on August 20, 2022. ❤️
Saturday August 20, 2022 my beautiful Great Niece Eevie had her No More Chemo celebration after along hard battle with Cancer. That little girl let me tell y’all she’s a warrior! She fought that battle an never gave up she won her battle she rung the bell! She is a childhood cancer survivor! 💪❤️ She showed me along the way what never giving up really meant ! I seen some of my family yesterday that I haven’t seen in along time . My sister Dena , my nephew Dustin , my beautiful niece Kristin an the list could keep going on . ❤️ An ofcourse I snatched my beautiful new best friend my Great Niece Brynna up & we hauled but to the nearest race track that was running . That girl has really became my best friend an I love her life ❤️
Race Recap: Saturday morning I prepared to clean my car up an head to Eevies event. Had no clue I was gonna make the last minute decision to go race my very first Big SCDRA Race at Sumter Motor Speedway . But I did an I went … I knew I was gonna be going alone an I was ok with that it wouldn’t be the first Rodeo I showed up to alone, but that Brynna wasn’t gonna let that happen she was going . Then I texted Laurie Brown an said ” I’ve made the last minute decision I’m going to run Sumter” . She said ” we are in what do we need to bring?” A jack was my only response because I haven’t been able to buy a new one . Well I get to the track an boy was I surprised. I had my Lake View family there with me at Sumter to help me battle some of the best SCDRA drivers on the east coast . I pulled in an they came from every were. Laurie, Jason, Abby, her friend, Brian & Ronnie . We had a few hiccups before inspection, got through inspection with a few things I had to have an had to have done before I could race . We got it all done , an I got to run my first race with a HANS device on an I felt so safe that I felt like I can send this baby full send an I’ll be ok , an I did just that . Went out for hot laps done my normal routine that I run at Lake View came in talked to Jason an we made a quick decision I could run a different gear. So I did that in Qualifying an boy did she wake up laying down the fastest time I’ve put down in a long time a 18.9 !!! I ended up Qualifying 21st out of 39 cars !!! Wooooo ! That put me starting 6th out of 15 cars in the B-Main. Went out for the B-Main an just didn’t have quiet enough to make that 5th position to make it into the A-Main an ya know I was upset but I wasn’t. I was ok with it . I came I tried I gave it my all an came up a little short !! But I did it I stood up with my chest out an battled with some of the fastest cars around ! An all I can remember is Ronnie coming running to my window screaming Baby girl do you know how many Damn Hondas you had chasing you an you was walking away from them . I had no clue I was just racing my heart out trying to make it into the big show.I had no clue 😂 All in all I was ok with it because I knew I gave it my all . I tell you my heart was overjoyed still is overjoyed an I feel so loved an wanted by these people. An I thank God for them taking me under their wings an treating me like Family Jason & Laurie y’all will never know how much y’all really mean to me . Ronnie you my boy even after I give you all the hell about running me over at Lake View that night you still stand 10 toes behind me pushing me to be a better driver. Brian buddy you have always felt like a big brother to me an always encouraged me to NEVER EVER give up on my dream of getting that win !! My sweet Abby & Brynna y’all are my little babies an always on 100 when it comes to me !! I love all of y’all so much. Congratulations to Andrew Smith on his Victory you did the dang thing !!
