Every athlete comes to water polo with a different level of experience, different goals, and a different place to start. That’s why Cosmos offers four training groups designed to give athletes the right level of challenge, coaching, and competition as they grow. 🤽♀️🤽♂️
💜 Junior Cadet | Ages 8–12
Our introduction to water polo! Perfect for younger athletes who are comfortable in deep water and ready to learn the sport. No previous water polo experience needed.
🚀 Cadet | Ages 10–13
For athletes ready to build stronger fundamentals, learn how the game works, and begin developing their offensive and defensive skills.
💙 Junior Varsity | Ages 12–18
Our competitive development group for experienced club athletes AND high school beginners. Athletes build game IQ, conditioning, tactics, and advanced fundamentals as they prepare for higher level competition.
💛 Varsity | High School
Our highest commitment training group for experienced athletes competing at the high school and club level. Attendance, consistency, advanced development, and preparation for the next level are the focus.
Not sure where your athlete belongs? That’s okay! Age is only part of placement. Our coaches consider swimming ability, water polo experience, skill level, confidence, and developmental needs to find the environment where each athlete can grow.
