Round Rock, TX In 2017, we launched our team, the Rockin' City Rebels!

Rockin' City Junior Roller Derby spawned from our parent league, Rockin' City Roller Derby (RCRD) to provide youth in our community an exciting and fun alternative sport. We follow the JRDA rules set which is based on the WFTDA rules. Our Charter Team competes in the JRDA Open Division. If you love to skate and want to learn how to play roller derby, we have a spot waiting for you! Our trainers and coaches are active derby players, referees and retired derby players who love to share their experience to teach the next generation of skaters. We use a skill-based system to instruct from the basics (stop, fall) through intermediate-level game play (juke, block, lean) and finally full-contact roller derby. Every skater will progress at their own pace, for safety we only promote skaters when they have met the skill requirements for advancement. Come out and watch the bouts & talk to us about roller derby and our league!

Come out to Panda Express on Palm Valley in Round Rock THIS SATURDAY and help show support to your local inclusive, nonprofit junior derby league!

Fundraising helps us pay for our practice venue, purchase medical supplies and gear, cover tournament fees, and can even help provide stipends and scholarships for these amazing young athletes to travel to games all over the country.

Welcome Coach Hideki!

You may have seen Hideki at several of our events, rockin' his Tawp Sports stripes! Hideki is an excellent official, always helping out wherever needed, and he makes amazing jerseys!

Meet our head coach!

Coach Sinner has been proudly coaching Rockin' City Juniors since 2019.

Her years of personal experience as a derby skater herself has been a tremendous benefit to our league and all of its skaters through the years.

Coach Sinner's coaching style is a great example of how true high performance and success begins with balancing strategic ex*****on of skills while providing a toolkit for sustainability, often focusing on overall well-being and a healthy mindset.

Outside of derby, Sinner spends time cooking, remodeling, and running her graphic design business, Blase Design.

We're excited to have her as part of the team again this season!
