Texas A&M Quidditch

Texas A&M Quidditch We are the Fightin' Texas Aggie Quidditch team! We have tryouts at the beginning of each semester & accept members for the developmental program year round!

The Texas A&M Quidditch Team was founded in the fall of 2008 by avid Quidditch enthusiasts Aimee Howarth, Kristen Howarth, and Elizabeth Witt. The organization began with only two house teams and Sunday practices and has grown to have two teams committed to playing on the intercollegiate level through the United States Quidditch organization. Intercollegiate play requires weekly practices which ar

e currently set up on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. These practices are designed to improve players' skills, agility, strength, and endurance, so they can compete in competitive matches against other colleges and represent the organization at the national level. The organization participates in social events together such as attending sporting and other events on campus, creating intramural sports teams, and competing in tournaments such as Dodge the Arrow and the Action Ball Tournament. We also take part in time honored traditions such as Muster and Big Event.

Congratulations to our graduate, Angelica! We are so proud of your complishments on & off the field. The team is excited to see where this next chapter takes you. We will miss you dearly, thank you being an incredible friend/teammate these past two years!

"I had never heard of quidditch before A&M I saw them tabling my freshman year and thought it was a joke. It wasn’t until junior year that I was truly able to join in and realize how cool it was. My favorite part of quidditch was meeting the team and everyone there and realizing we are all a brand of quirky and the trick to finding your people is to find the brands that fit together well. I’m super thankful for quidditch to helping me get out of my comfort zone, meeting some of the best people I know and finding a new unique skill and joining a new community for years to follow." -Angelica

Ever wanted to try something new?

Come out to Quadball 101 the Texas A&M Quadball team has partnered with the Texas Copperheads, one of the top club teams in the nation, and US Quadball to host an exciting opportunity for students to learn about and play Quadball. This event is open to all A&M students and will introduce participants to the fast-paced, full-contact sport that combines elements of rugby, basketball, and dodgeball. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or trying something new, come experience the speed, strategy, and teamwork that make Quadball one of the most dynamic sports in the country.

Don’t miss out! Come see what Quadball is all about.

Date: Saturday, March 28th, 2026
Location: Penberthy Field 6 - Penberthy Blvd, College Station, Texas, 77840
Start Time: 10:00 AM

This event is set up to where you can arrive and leave at your pleasure. Don’t want to learn the basics and just want to jump straight into a game, you can arrive at 12. Just have time to show up in the morning. That's ok too! All are welcome.

10-11 am: This first hour will be dedicated to teaching new players about Quadball. Learn about the different positions, Chaser, Keeper, Be**er, and Seeker. These will be basic drills, and beginner friendly.

11 am-12 pm: This next hour will be dedicated to going over more advanced drills. Go more in depth with each position, and get more of an understanding.

12-1 pm: Open Scrimmage. We will play short quick scrimmages to let anyone who wants to try Quadball play.

1-2 pm: Watch an official match! Texas A&M will play against SHSU in an official match. Since this is an official match it will only be open to current Texas A&M members to play against Sam Houston.

Happy Valentine's Day! We love all our players so much! 🫶

Congratulations to our newest graduate, Jettie Court! We will miss you very much! Thank you for all that you have done for this organization as both a member and our external relations officer. Congrats and good luck!

“It feels so surreal to already be done with my four years at Texas A&M. Its so strange to think that I won’t be able to play for this team again. I think what I will miss most though has to be practices with all of my friends and getting goofy new inside jokes each week. I’m graduating with a degree in Industrial Distribution, and will be moving to Midland, TX to work as a Sales Trainee with ChampionX. Good luck to the new officers, and the team as a whole. Y’all got this!” - Jettie
