Words truly can’t describe how awesome it was competing with my Sister & best friend for the first time since her Achilles repair surgery 💪🏽🥇
Getting a first place win was just the cherry on top of a day filled with faith, family, fitness & so much fun! ☺️
I’ve had the extraordinary privilege of not only being Amanda’s sister, but also her doctor of physical therapy. It’s been the most rewarding experience as a healthcare provider to watch every single milestone of progress throughout her recovery journey.
Everything from observing her surgery in the operating room, helping her learn to walk again, recording her first time jumping, witnessing her become a faster runner & stronger weightlifter than she’s ever been — has all been the biggest blessing because I got to be right by her side 🤍 Competition day was no different.
Sister, I am so incredibly proud of your fearless & relentless dedication to achieving full recovery, maximum performance, and peak fitness — as well as that of every Athlete, Coach, and person you serve through OBK Fitness & Nutrition. The most impressive part about the passion you have is that you don’t do it for yourself, but for the glory of God 🙏🏽
