🐍⚾ Offensive Player of the Game: Jay Adams & “Chip” Deliver Again

When the game was on the line, Jay Adams and his trusted bat “Chip” answered the call.

Jay came through with three big hits, helping fuel an incredible Mambas comeback victory over the RR Hustle All-Stars. Time after time, Jay put quality swings on the ball, keeping rallies alive and helping the Mambas erase a four-run deficit on their way to an 8-7 win.

Some players have lucky socks. Some have lucky wristbands. Jay has Chip.

🧱🐍 Defensive Player of the Game: The Entire Mambas Defense

Today wasn’t about one player, it was about a team effort.

The Mambas were short-handed and suited up with just 10 players, meaning every player on the field played defense for the entire game. There were no breaks, no substitutions, and no excuses.

Facing a talented RR Hustle lineup, the Mambas battled through every inning and held them to 7 runs, making the plays they needed when it mattered most to complete the comeback victory.

Because of that effort, Coach awarded the Defensive Chain to the entire team.

🏆 Offensive Player of the Game: Jordan Wlezien 🐍⚾

What a day at the plate for Jordan!

Jordan went a perfect 4-for-4, helping lead the Manchaca Mambas All-Stars to a 17-4 victory. He reached base every time he stepped in the batter’s box, collecting three singles and a double, while contributing to a big offensive performance from the entire team.

🧱 Defensive Player of the Game: Ronan Hoffmann 🐍⚾

While the offense was rolling, Ronan was putting on a clinic at the hot corner.

Ronan made multiple defensive plays throughout the game, consistently shutting down scoring opportunities and giving the Mambas confidence on every ball hit his way. His highlight moment came when he fielded a ground ball at third and fired an absolute strike to first base, throwing out the runner with a rocket across the diamond.

Our boys brought the heat this weekend! 🔥 Huge shoutout to Jay A. for smashing two massive home runs, and to Evan C. for being an absolute wall on the mound!

Our offense was relentless across the roster:

Jack M. drove in 4 crucial runs for our first win!

Jordan W. went a perfect 4-for-4 from the leadoff spot in Game 2!

Gryffinn M. & Jameson D. each collected 3 hits in the finale!

Every player stepped up. So proud of this crew! ⚾️

🐍 Mambas Strike at Oak Hill! ⚾️
What a debut for the 8U Manchaca Mambas All-Stars! We hit the dirt at the Oak Hill Invitational and walked away with 3 awesome wins in our first 2026 tournament! The bats were on fire with over 120 hits, but the best part was the teamwork, the high-fives, and the huge smiles in the dugout. We couldn't have asked for a more fun start! 💚🐍

We’re celebrating 3 years on Facebook today! 🎉

Throwback to the OG Mambas squad, the group that helped start it all. Hard to believe most of these boys have either just wrapped up their freshman baseball season or are heading that way next year. Time flies.

Proud of the players, families, coaches, and memories that helped build from the beginning. 🐍⚾️

Last night the Mambas came together for their first All-Star practice and brought exactly what coaches hope to see — great attitudes, high effort, energy, focus, and excitement for the opportunity ahead.

These boys earned the chance to compete together this summer in the game they’ve come to love. Now the work begins. Learning to trust each other, push each other, and play for something bigger than themselves.

Proud of the way they showed up on Day 1.
