We are happy to announce our return to the track with the Allison Legacy Race Series! We will kick off this season at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina on Saturday March 5, 2022. It feels good to finally be back at the track!

Had a rough day at HMS yesterday.
We ended up going to early practice since we weren't able to practice the day before. Once I pulled off the pits, I was able to get about 40 feet onto the backstretch before we had 2 mechanical parts fail at once and almost sent me into the wall. We weren't able to make the first official practice due to failing tech, luckily however, thanks to Woody, Bob and my crew chief, I was able to get out onto the track for the second practice to run some laps. Practice went pretty good, had an oil leak mid session, which was fixed later on. Had more mechanical problems that kept us from qualifying. Later on before the race, we found a few more issues that could've been from our previous crash at Myrtle Beach, and the crew decided it would be best to not race that night to prevent anymore damage being done.
Really frustrating having so many things fail for an unknown reason. Hopefully we can redeem ourselves and get the car fixed by October for our next race!

Want to give a big thanks to the following people: Chris Woods Racing and Repair, my team. Woody and Bob for being a massive help doing their best to get the car fixed, and my family for supporting me in whatever I do and helping out on the car.

Stomach Bug - 1, EGR - 0... Really bummed that I missed today's race. Felt really bad once we left to go to Tri County Speedway. Ended up getting sick half way there, so the crew and I decided it would be best to come back home and wait out the sickness. Looking forward to FINALLY getting to race at Hickory Motor Speedway in August!

Had a great weekend at Myrtle Beach! The crew had a few problems coming up, my crew chief/spotter
got laryngitis, the truck wouldn't crank
and we had very little air conditioning. Once we got to the track, we unloaded and ran some practice laps.
Ended up spinning and hitting the wall to end our practice short. On race day, the crew worked tirelessly
getting the car race-ready. We were 2nd fastest in first practice, and ran well in the second one.
Qualified 3rd thanks to some great advice from Zack Wells and my crew chief. Ran really well against
some top drivers. A few laps in, the car got loose and ended up spinning out, sending us to the back.
Made my way up the field pretty well up until I was too impatient and hit another driver, spinning us both
out and sending my car into the outside wall.

Massive thanks above all to God for the opportunity to do any of this.

I would like to thank the following people: Zack Wells for filling in as my spotter and giving
great advice. Christi Michael Woods, Stephen Woods and CWRR Team for all their hard work on the car-especially after the wreck.
Last but definitely not least, my family for all their effort and support both on and off the track.

Update:

Had a great week at Myrtle Beach, was 2nd fastest in practice, qualified 3rd, was running up front going for 2nd place early. Ended up spinning out and being sent to the back. On my way back to the front, I was a bit too aggressive and impatient trying to pass Cole Wagoner, spun us both out, and hit the outside wall backwards driver's side. Hopefully we can get the car ready for our next race down in Tri County Speedway!
Will be releasing videos soon.

Special Thanks to: Woody, Zack, CWRR Crew, Family

Had a great weekend at Anderson! The day before we had a bit of trouble with the carburetor, got it fixed on raceday, but I didn't have full throttle so practice was pretty slow. Thanks to Kevin Campbell we were able to get it ready in time for qualifying. Qualified 3rd, had an amazing car for the race! Missed a shift on the 3rd restart, but battled back from 8th to 4th before we had a little run in with Luke Akers Motorsports LLC towards the end. Finished the race in 3rd, might've grabbed 2nd if we had a few more laps.
Congrats to Ethan Elder on the win and Matthew Davey on getting P2!

Special thanks to all of the people who have helped me in this series: Christi Michael Woods, my crew, Kevin Campbell and last but not least CWRR Team. Next race will be on June 8th at Hickory Motor Speedway!

Sorry for falling short on the updates lately, wanted to get everyone up to speed.

Tri-County 03/30/19:
Practice went well
Didn't have the best time in qualifying & ended up ninth
Ended up with a DNF in the race from clutch issues

Anderson 05/18/19:
Had carburetor issues the day before so we weren't able to practice as much as we wanted.
Crew fixed the problem, but left me with half throttle unknowingly.
Race practice was slower than we thought from not having full throttle.
Thanks to Kevin Campbell we were able to be at max throttle in time for qualifying.
Qualified 3rd out of 11
Finished 3rd. More details on Anderson in the next post
