However, if you celebrated the occasion of the birth of the Savior of the world, who as the King of the Universe took on flesh and lived to die for your sins and mine…what are you celebrating today? Are you praising the Lord for Christmas and Easter every day? You should be. Enjoy your day…Praise the Lord!!

Do you actions (the life that lost people see) make your faith complete? They did for Abraham (Genesis 22). He trusted God to replace his son with a actual lamb, or as the author of Hebrews speculates, he trusted God to bring His son back to life if God let him go through with the sacrifice. God doesn’t call us to sacrifice our children, but He WILL test our faith! When He does, can those around you see that, no matter what, you’re still leaning on your faith in Him to bring you through to victory over whatever circumstance you’re facing? Give it to Him…He can handle anything!

Truth!! Plain and simple TRUTH!!

Ever feel like nothing good is happening? You sit and wonder, God…why are you making this so difficult for me? Why are you giving me all this hardship and pain?

A lot of people with fake faith walk away at this point. They say, There is no God or He wouldn’t let me go through this. Why is He “punishing” me?

Stop and think for a moment. Have you been through what Job went through? Is it possible that God isn’t punishing you, but rather building you up to be a stronger voice/example in His kingdom?

What’s been weighing on my mind lately is, too many people want to follow the Joel Osteen’s and Steven Furtick’s of this world and only hear, God loves you…He wants what’s BEST for you…He’ll protect you…if you are going through a tough season, you must be doing something wrong. Etc, Etc.

I submit to you that Job loved God, and God loved Job. Satan said, He (Job) only loves You (God) for the blessings You give him. God said, Ok devil…take it all away from him…let’s see!!! Job endured some HORRIBLE things, and yet he said, Though He slay me, yet I will trust in Him!! Job 13:15 KJV

Sometimes sin can have such a grip on us that, despite at one point giving our lives to Christ and dedicating our lives to sanctification through Him, that we wonder, Am I really saved?

Be encouraged and strengthen your faith today! You are His!!! Job was His!!!

Consider your trials JOY as the Apostle Paul did, and then SHINE your LIGHT as a city on a Hill for Jesus Christ!!!

In archery we go through a shot process. If one thing is missing in that shot sequence, we miss the mark. In the sequence of our walk with Christ, we can get off the mark as well. Usually this is because we allow ourselves to be fooled by the enemy. But if we constantly focus on Jesus, and live FOR Him EVERY day, we will get closer and closer to the target all the time!!!

Take a look around…GOD is IN control! Our finite minds can NOT even begin to understand His infinite wisdom, power, and glory!! But rest assured, He is working all things together!!

When God pulls back and turns man over to his own devices, there is increased hostility and wickedness. The increase of hostile wickedness in the world is the sign of God’s judgment. Where there is an increase in wickedness, there is the evidence of God’s active judgment.

It’s not always the easiest path. But Jesus told us, “Wide is the path that leads to destruction…narrow is the path that leads to Life”. He never said the narrow path would be free from rocks and debris!! He just said where it leads!! Have faith…repent of your sins…and climb over the obstacles on the path that leads to the ultimate reward!! Eternal life with Him!! Expect some bumps and bruises along the way!! Keep your eye on the prize…Jesus!!
