You MUST purchase your tickets in advance. There will be absolutely NO tickets sold at the door.

You can message me or Crystal all you want after November 14 at 5:00 PM. You can tell us you forgot, you were busy, you didn’t see the reminders, or you can cry us a river about missing the deadline.

Not because we don’t like you. Not because we’re trying to be difficult. But because deadlines are deadlines, and we have to finalize everything ahead of time.

WINSTON SPEEDWAY TRACK GIVES BACK COMMUNITY DINNER!

Last year, before we ever opened the gates at Winston Speedway, we saw something our community needed. Not another event, not another fundraiser, but simply an opportunity for neighbors to come together, share a meal, enjoy some conversation, and spend time with one another.

That’s how our community dinner program began.

Fast forward to this year, and thanks to the tremendous support you’ve shown us during our very first racing season at Winston Speedway, we’re proud to be able to continue that tradition!

And once again, dinner is on us!

Come join the Admiral and the Winston Speedway crew for a FREE community dinner. No tickets, no admission, no strings attached. Just good food, good company, and an opportunity to spend some time together.

And we’ve got a special guest joining us!

Our newest crew member and four-legged mascot, Winston, will be making a special guest appearance! He’s excited to meet some of the wonderful people who have been following his adventures.

We’ll also have Winston Speedway Awards Banquet tickets available for purchase for anyone planning to attend our November 21st celebration.

When we opened Winston Speedway this year, our goal was never just about racing. We wanted to build something that could make a positive difference in the community around us.

And because of YOU, we’re able to keep doing exactly that.

You don’t have to be a race fan. You don’t have to have attended a single race. If you’re part of our community, you’re invited.

Bring the family, invite a neighbor, pull up a chair, and let’s enjoy an evening together.

SHAMELESS CAMPAIGN PLUG FROM THE USS WINSTON!

Apparently, running a speedway and serving as an elected Road Commissioner wasn’t keeping the Admiral busy enough!

Admiral Heykoop currently serves as an elected Oceana County Road Commissioner and is looking to switch gears into a new role as County Commissioner for District 2, representing Shelby and Ferry Townships.

Same great constituency, different responsibilities, same Admiral!

Meanwhile, Winston has been hard at work helping address campaign postcards. His qualifications include sitting on paperwork, supervising absolutely nothing, and demanding treats. Basically, management material!

Andrew Heykoop is running as a WRITE IN candidate for County Commissioner, District 2.

For voters choosing to write in Andrew Heykoop, the process involves writing his name on the appropriate write in line and filling in the oval next to it. Both steps are necessary for the vote to count.

We’ll also be posting a sample ballot showing how the write in process works.

And yes, this is a shameless political plug on a racetrack page. Apparently, dealing with race car drivers every Friday night wasn’t enough excitement for the Admiral!

USS WINSTON – CAPTAIN’S LOG

After a 7-day mission to the distant galaxy known as Texas… AGAIN… AGAIN… the Admiral has finally returned to home base.

Mission objective: Retrieve next season’s new Mess Hall, which will be responsible for feeding the hungry troops of Winston Nation.

Mission status: SUCCESSFUL.

Admiral’s status: Exhausted, slightly broke, and questioning why everything we buy requires a cross-country rescue mission.

But upon his return, Winston, the USS Winston’s newest feline crew member, immediately reported for duty.

Apparently, after a thorough inspection, Winston determined that the safest place aboard the ship was tucked underneath the Admiral’s shirt, nestled into his beard.

Starfleet Medical has confirmed the Admiral is now officially classified as a heated emotional support docking station.

The Admiral has been ordered not to move until the tiny officer completes his nap.

Seven days across the country to retrieve a Mess Hall, only to come home and discover he’s been reassigned as a cat bed.

Such is the life of command.

USS WINSTON — UNAUTHORIZED LIVESTOCK ACQUISITION ATTEMPT

Apparently, the Admiral caught wind that TWO alpacas were running loose in Whitehall.

His immediate response?

“FINDERS KEEPERS! PREPARE THE TRANSPORT SHUTTLE!”

We had to remind him that these creatures belong to another galaxy, probably have owners, and he cannot just lure them back to Winston Speedway by whispering “psst psst psst” and offering them snacks.

The Admiral disagrees and insists that any alpaca voluntarily boarding the USS Winston is technically a new crew member.

Starfleet Command has officially denied his request to establish an Alpaca Cavalry Division.

The Admiral has filed an appeal.

If anyone sees him driving around Whitehall with a bag of carrots and two tiny Starfleet uniforms, please notify the First Officer immediately.

Who is excited for fun new things next year at Winston?!? We can’t wait for everyone to see our fully functioning food trailer. This masterpiece can carry our FULL menu with the ability to cook and support itself. We are excited to see it up and running full time on Friday nights and hopefully get to see it go on some side quests to fun places too! My first big track purchase and I am so excited!!! It’s not the one we drove to Texas for but God was with us and when we went to see the first one it was not what was described and the people were not friendly and the whole thing felt off. So we left and went to a hotel a little sad thinking we were out of luck and then this one popped up and is just perfect!! -Crystal

ATTENTION RACERS:
We are trying to get post cards sent out to any racer receiving an award at this years banquet. We have a handful that we do not have addresses for. If you could go over the list below and if you are on it please message me (Crystal Heykoop) your address or your child’s if a mini wedge I would sure appreciate it.

Also, if you are any of the racers who I accidentally messaged at 11pm for addresses I’m sorry….I don’t sleep obviously and did not realize how late it had gotten)
