It has been a pleasure and honor watching, cheering, and coaching the 2015 Sr. Class of Greyhounds for the past 7 years. A never say quit bunch that got two signature wins this year our first back in AAAAAA. Use the lessons learned on the field, practice, and from your coaches/community in your life journey. Go Hounds!

The 2014 Golf and Tennis Tournament for Greyhounds is roughly two weeks away. We do not yet have enough participants to make this event a success and provide the fundraising support needed by the football program at Pope High School. 100% of the proceeds of the event go to support the football program.

The golf tournament and tennis round robin will be held on July 21, 2014 at Indian Hills Country Club. Golf tournament registration begins at 11:30AM and registration for the tennis round robin begins at 12:30. A dinner and auction will follow and is included in the cost of play.

You can register and pay by going to www.POPEFOOTBALL.com and clicking on the link titled “2014 Golf and Tennis for Greyhounds“ or by completing and returning the attached registration form with your payment.

The Pope Greyhounds play High School Football out of Region 5 in Georgia's largest enrollment classification AAAAAA. Pope High School is located in Marietta, Ga.

Happy Thanksgiving Greyhound Family. The Football program gives thanks for our coaches, players, parents, and Fans. Also, for the freedom to play a great sport that teaches life lessons. Happy Thanksgiving, may your day give you a full belly, family time, and plenty of football to watch.

Gentlemen..It was an honor to watch you each and every Friday night this fall. A time many of us senior parents will miss. Keep up the glorious tradition, underclassmen. Greyhound pride is special!!

Senior Greyhound Football Players. It has been a true pleasure watching you guys grow as young men over the past seven years. Thank you for all the great memories, and letting us watch them. Underclassmen we look forward to more memories next season. Work hard over the offseason. Go Hounds!

Calling all Greyhounds!!! We need every parent current/past, students, past players, teachers, and community members to come out and support the Hounds tomorrow night at Sequoyah HS. This is win or go home time in HS Football. We need the support for the boys to ensure we move on to play another day! Game starts at 730PM tomorrow night November 9th.
