As August winds down and cheer season starts to rev up, we took some time during practice this week to slow down, reflect, and show some gratitude for the people who make this team so special.

Each week we will recognize a cheerleader who is our “Top Dog”. This cheerleader is someone who has stood out this week with her effort, attitude, and for being a great teammate. Each Top Dog will get to take Bones, our spirit animal, home until we announce our new Top Dog.

🎉🐾 Our Top Dog from earlier this month before school started was Jaelynn Lowrance!🎉🐾

A little sassy, a LOT of hustle, and always a whole lot of heart — that’s Jaelynn! 💙🤍

Jaelynn was chosen as a Top Dog earlier this month for her leadership skills, and she continues to show us exactly why! She puts hustle and heart into everything she does and isn’t afraid to step up, speak up, and lead her teammates. 👏🏼

She may bring a little sass to the team, but underneath that is someone who truly cares about her teammates, her team, and giving her best every time she steps on the mat.

We’re proud of the leader you are, Jaelynn! Keep bringing the energy, the hustle, the heart, and of course… the sass!

This team had a stellar performance and HIT ZERO! 🔥👏🏼

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork they continue to show every time they step on the mat. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes this season! 🐾💙

✨🐶 TOP DOG OF THE WEEK 🐶✨

🎉🐾 Our Top Dog was Sophia Hunter!🎉🐾

Sophia has been working SO hard as a brand-new flyer, and it has definitely not gone unnoticed! She has been putting in the work both at practice AND outside of practice to improve her skills and become the best flyer she can be. 👏🏼

Sophia is also someone who brings such a positive attitude and good energy to practice every day. She is always encouraging her teammates, cheering them on, and helping create a positive environment for our team. 🫶🏼

We are so proud of the progress you’re making, Sophia! Keep working hard, keep believing in yourself, and keep bringing that amazing energy! 💙
