This looks like a great event at the Dickson Mounds Museum near Lewistown. “Be an Archaeologist for a Day” for kids ages 9-16 years old on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. More details are available on the site here.

Starting tomorrow our pack has an opportunity to sell ‘Camp Cards’. These cards are to help our scouts go to summer camp and support our Cub Scout Pack. Your scout will be coming home from scouts with an envelope and cards to sell. There are simple instructions on the envelope. Here are the simple details.
Card details:
Each card is $5
Each card contains a one-time use $5 for HyVee & Happy Joes and buy one get one free Hungry Hobo coupon. Also included are multi use coupons for Taco Bell and Texas Road House on each card.
• Sale Starts on March 21, 2013
• Sale Ends on April 18, 2013.
• Please bring all unsold cards and money to the Pack meeting on this date. If you take a check please make it payable to “Cub Scout Pack 336”.
If you need more cards, they can be obtained from me.

What is in it for our efforts:
For every 10 cards sold the Pack will take $10 off your scout’s Day Camp fee. Sell 20 cards and get $20 off of day camp and so forth… So if your scout sells 50 cards camp is free for them.
Top two sellers get to put a pie in Mr. Pedigo’s Face.

Day Camp Details:
• Cub Scout Day Camp is July 8 – 12, 2013 at Camp Chic-a-gama/Spring Lake in Macomb.
• Early Registration will be $50 per scout by May 10. Camp fee is $65 after May 10.
• More details will be available in early April.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. This is a reminder that the Pine Wood Derby is Saturday, January 12 at 4:00pm. Hope you are working on your cars and will be ready to race.

Do to personal obligations on December 20th for my son. I would like to move the December 20th pack meeting to December 13th. This will be our last for this year.

We will be covering the Religious requirements for their badges.

At this meeting we will be presenting the Bobcat Badge to the scouts that have earned it this fall.

I will be picking up the popcorn tomorrow morning to sort. I will try to reach out to all of you after it is sorted to deliver or coordinate a pickup. They are delivering to Macomb so if you are in Macomb tomorrow afternoon, maybe you could help by picking it up.

Here is a refresher on the popcorn sales that begin on Saturday (2012/09/22).

Goals: $100 – minimum goal
$300 – Free recharter for 2013
$600 – Put a PIE in Mr. Pedigo’s face.
$1200 – Put a Second PIE in Mr. Pedigo’s face.
$1800 – Put a Third PIE in Mr. Pedigo’s face.
Plus the normal popcorn incentives from Trails End.
If this pack sells $10,000 worth of popcorn I will buy the boys (and siblings) DQ from my own pocket!

Cash is best. If they write a check it is to be made out to Cub Scout Pack 336. (They may not be deposited until the first of November.)

Orders are due to me on Thursday, October 25th at our meeting.
We will receive our popcorn on or around November 17th.

This is just a friendly reminder that we have our Pack meeting and roundup Thursday night at 7:00pm. Please have your scout wear his uniform and bring a friend to the meeting.

Prade linup will be at 4:00pm on Wednesday (9/5). Please meet at Willits school on West Broadway. Look for the National Guard guys we will be riding with them. Please wear your full uniform.
